Frequently asked questions

Can we use the answers as audit evidence?
Every run records the question, the documents in scope, the exact passages retrieved, the model call, the checks that ran, and the final cited answer. That record is the audit trail — it is not reconstructed from logs after the fact.
Will it claim something is compliant when it is not covered?
No. Claims about the absence of a rule are blocked on retrieval tasks, because retrieval returns a ranked subset rather than the whole corpus. The agent can state what your documents say; it cannot state what they fail to say.
How do we keep it current as regulations change?
Documents are bitemporal — you can ask what the answer is today, or what it would have been on a given date. Runs pin the document versions they used, so a past answer stays reproducible after the underlying regulation is updated.
